Constructions of Home in Philosophy, Theory, Literature and Cinema


CASII’s first publication was launched at the CASII-OUCIP conference in Hyderabad on 24th January 2014. This was a volume of scholarly essays by well-known academics and scholars from India and abroad on the subject of ‘Home and Belonging’. This volume entitled Constructions of Home in Philosophy, Theory, Literature and Cinema, was edited by Sridhar Rajeswaran, Director of CASII and Klaus Stierstorfer, Professor, Muenster University, Germany, which is a partner university of CASII. The volume was released by the Vice Chancellor of the Osmania University at the inauguration of the CASII-OUCIP conference and was a festschrift in honour of Professor Nilufer E Bharucha. The volume was released by the Vice Chancellor of the Osmania University.
